We love Jamaican food and have dined at numerous restaurants across North Carolina as we travel. Last night we decided to try Angie's.... and were very pleasantly surprised. In all honesty, my Brown Stew Chicken was the absolute best I've ever had ...anywhere! It was perfectly cooked .... very tender and tasty. The cabbage was cut differently, but so delicious.! Hubby had the Curry Goat....and said it was amazing!! My only regret is that we don't live closer, but I feel sure we will return when we are able. Thank you Angies!!!

We tried the oxtail, curry goat, jerk chicken and jerk pork. They were all so delicious and came in pretty generous portions. I thought the rice and peas, and cabbage were amazing sides. The staff members were also very friendly.

We got 2 plates and spent $36.55. Food was good the rice and peas were amazing!!! Mac and cheese could have been better but the rice and peassss!? They are so good. Coming back just because of the rice and peas. Steamed cabbage has a bit of a kick to it very good. Rice and peas make it worth it! #cleanplates worth a return trip.

The food was great. Some of the best Jamaican food I've tried in the States. The service was a little slow, but the food made up for it.

This was our first time here having been recommended by someone who loves it. The curry pork was phenomenal and the curry chicken amazing as well.! The cabbage was also excellent and had a bit of a bite, which I loved! We will definitely be going back even though we live on the other side of town!

Was looking for a good Jamaican spot and this popped up with great reviews so I decided to try it myself. So glad that I did. It was delicious! I tried the medium sized jerk chicken, rice and peas and cabbage since it was my first time, and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken was fall off the bone, the meat and skin was full of spices and the oxtail + jerk gravies were delicious too. I also grabbed a beef patty with coco bread and that did not disappoint. They even have pink Ting! When I walked into the restaurant, there was a family of 4 (2 adults/2kids) sitting in a dining area that has a mix of tables that can seat groups of up to 2 and 4 people. The woman who took my order greeted me and asked if it was my first time there. I told her yes and how I found them, and she said I made the right choice instead of going elsewhere. She was absolutely right! A watch out for me when eating at restaurants that have food from other cultures is if people from that culture are eating there, too. When you have Jamaicans eating at a Jamaican spot, you know it’s good. So glad I found Angie’s and I’ll definitely be back!
